“One woman can make a
difference, but together we
can rock the world."
What We Do
Our services are always available to offer freedom, hope and healing.
Shine Gathering is a non-profit foundation dedicated to supporting and empowering women from historically marginalized and visible minority backgrounds.
Are you feeling overwhelmed or trapped and finding it hard to manage the stress and demands of your daily life?
Are you unsure or confused about troubling patterns in your personal/professional relationships or environment?
You don’t need to struggle alone. Help is on hand.
Our founders have been where you are now. We understand what you need without you saying it.
We offer targeted programs, resources, and retreat activities that sustainably build emotional,
spiritual, mental, financial and leadership capacity to identify and eliminate barriers to full participation in the society.
Our grassroots community development programs and advocacy initiatives empower women to break free from limitations and increase economic participation. This means helping women improve their overall well-being, find better-paying jobs, build strong networks, secure promotions to leadership roles, and start their own businesses—creating a brighter future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
We recognize that the women we serve face significant challenges due to being underserved, underfunded, and under-resourced. This is why we have wholeheartedly embraced the role of raising awareness and advocating for community support that is offered free of charge!

Testimonials
We respectfully acknowledge that the work we do takes place on the traditional, unceded territories of the Wolastoqiyik (Maliseet) and Mi’kmaq peoples who have historical relationships with the land that continue to this day. In the spirit of truth and reconciliation, we commit to ongoing learning, unlearning, and collaboration to create spaces where all women feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.
